Falconry Ownership and Handling Course Falconry Adventures the Academy of Falconry offers full tutorial courses based at our facility in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. These course are aimed at the novice who has decided that they wish to take up the art of falconry, and those wishing to asses in depth if they feel they are able to keep a bird of their own. There are many ways that falconry knowledge can be acquired, though a good hands on experience has to be one of the best. |

Our facilities are not open to the general public but are dedicated to our courses and handling sessions. We take great pride in providing high class facilities to our birds and services to our students. We operate a full back up service post course when we are happy to advise and support former course takers. As is often repeated throughout the course 'If you run into a problem phone us'. There are no additional fees for this back up mentoring service. |

Please book any course with our head falconer directly via the office. Pricing as of August 2007. £500 per person with a reduced rate being available of £900 for two people booking onto the same course at the same time. £100 per person deposit secures the booking of five day courses and is non refundable if cancelled. We will always however offer alternate dates to cover the unforeseen! Light lunch is provided on all five days of the course. The courses are strictly no observer events. We regret that due to our commitments to the breeding program during the months March, April, and the first half of May we do not run the course program. We are happy to arrange a course however at any other time. |
